In the hollows of bereft caves,
and the howling of abrasive winds,
In the smashes of untiring waves,
And the receding tired sand,
In the swaying of the grieving trees,
And the crackling of the dried separated leaves,
In the hills standing in endless wait,
And the eternal stillness of lakes.
In the ruthless currents of rivers,
And the river bed stones perennially parting self.
In all of these but more so
Life flows in the spaces between you and me
